Colligan Law is pleased to announce their sponsorship of the Girls on the Run 5k series this fall. Girls on the Run of Buffalo will serve close to 800 girls in 3rd through 8th grade representing over 30 school districts and 8 counties of Western New York. The goal is to equip girls with the necessary tools to handle many of life’s challenges, including bullying, gossip, establishing healthy friendships and standing up for themselves. Approximately 1500 runners and over 1000 spectators will help the girls celebrate as they reach their goal at the finish line.
The fall event will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2013 in Delaware Park.
Carolyn’s practice involves the representation of students with physical, emotional, developmental, and mental health disabilities to ensure the placement of those students in an appropriate school setting so that they are able to thrive in and out of school.
Carolyn and Colligan Law believes in the mission of Girls on the Run. Carolyn volunteers her time to the organization’s fall race committee. Carolyn is also a marathon runner having competed in the Boston Marathon in 2008, Buffalo Marathon in 2007 and 2013, as well as many locally held running events
