BUFFALO, NY – Colligan Law is proud to announce that Partner David Colligan has been the
2015 Community Catalyst at the first-ever Upstate Venture Ecosystem Awards, organized by
Upstate Venture Connect (uvc.org) and the Upstate Venture Association of New York
(uvany.org).
Colligan is a partner at Colligan Law; founding director and chairman of the board, Launch New
York; board member, WNY Venture Association; and founding member, Buffalo Angels.
Community Catalyst is awarded to individuals who organize programs to bring together diverse
startup ecosystem players in a local community and/or increase the amount of capital and
number of active early stage investors in that community.
Winners were announced at a special luncheon event held at the Turning Stone Resort,
featuring serial entrepreneur Jeff Hoffman. An independent panel of judges reviewed the
